Job Summary:
- Contract: Temporary with the opportunity to become permanent, starting right away
- Hours: Full time during the Wedding season , part time & work from home out of the season
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, expertise, and references

A multiculural event venue nestled in the heart of Southwest France at Chateau Engalin, Mauvezin (just 45 minutes from Toulouse International Airport), redefining what destination wedding can be.
Our 18th-century chateau is a breathtaking blend of historic charm and bold contemporary art, where local flavors meet creative flair, and celebrations stretch into unforgettable weekends.

Ready to create extraordinary moments? As our Events Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of crafting one-of-a-kind experiences that leave guests raving. You’ll work with couples who choose us for our distinctive vibe, bringing their vision to life with warmth and creativity. - Event Magic: Plan and deliver everything from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, making every moment shine.
- Team Inspiration: Lead our front-of-house crew with energy and enthusiasm, ensuring top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Brand Champion: Share our unique vision and values with guests, embodying the spirit of Engalin in every interaction.
- Guest Delight: Use your natural hospitality flair to create personalized, memorable experiences that wow.
- Teamwork Dreamwork: Collaborate with our wedding director, proprietor, and kitchen team to deliver seamless, show-stopping events.
Who You Are:
We’re looking for someone who’s as excited about creating unforgettable experiences as we are.
Here’s what we’d love to see:
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in food, beverage, or high-profile events, with a knack for thinking outside the box.
- A genuine passion for amazing food, drinks, and making guests feel special.
- Warm, engaging people skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.
- A hands-on attitude and a love for working with a tight-knit, passionate team.
- Sharp attention to detail, clear communication, and a commitment to exceptional service.
- Super organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluent in English (French is a bonus!).
- Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to event inquiries with speed and a friendly touch.
- Host video calls, in-person tours, and open days to show off our stunning venue.
- Be the go-to person for clients from their first inquiry to the big day.
- Plan and host open days alongside our wedding director and planners.
- Lead the team with infectious energy, setting the tone for excellence.
- Be the main point of contact for guests during events, ensuring they feel cared for and celebrated.
- Train the event team with a hands-on approach, sharing our values and service standards.
- Oversee front-of-house setup and keep everything running smoothly.
- Run daily staff briefings with all the details to keep everyone in the loop.
- Make smart, thoughtful decisions to keep operations on point.
- Encourage the team to handle feedback with positivity and quick solutions.
- Manage stock, equipment orders, and event billing like a pro.
